TORONTO — Alsace and Rhône Valley Wines are launching a culinary competition Oct. 17 at Toronto’s Pantages Hotel.
Participating chefs will create a four-course menu paired with two wines each from the Alsace and Rhône Valley regions of France. The submissions will be judged by a panel led by the renowned restaurateur and chef, Susur Lee.Two winning chefs will be selected and feted at a gala dinner at Lee’s restaurant Oct. 25.
The participating restaurants will be able to feature wines from the featured regions in their restaurants for a special promotion, between Oct. 20 and Nov. 11.
