TORONTO — George Brown College (GBC) has partnered with Cookin, Toronto’s premier food-delivery marketplace, to create the George Brown Student Startup program. Through scholarships, mentorship and business programs, the startup program empowers emerging culinary talents at GBC and nurtures a new generation of culinary entrepreneurs.
Seven GBC students and alums have been selected to embark on their journey into online restaurant entrepreneurship. Guided by chef John Higgins through a month-long competitive application process, these up-and-coming food creators have curated unique brands and menus for consumers across Toronto.
Every Monday from May 6 to June 30, a different Culinary Arts student will launch their Cookin storefront to showcase their talents.
