GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Gordon Food Service has entered into an agreement to acquire Macgregors Meat & Seafood Ltd. to diversify its customer offerings through new food categories and retailers. Once the transaction is completed, Macgregors will operate as a specialty company of Gordon Food Service.
Macgregors Meat & Seafood Ltd. is one of Canada’s longest-standing independent family-owned purveyors. Its operations include raw and cooked facilities, new office and innovation space and retail storefront. Its brand partnerships include Certified Angus Beef, 44th Street, Niman Ranch and Jail Island Salmon.
