HALIFAX — Taco Del Mar, a Mexican-style QSR chain, is making its way to Eastern Canada, where it will open on 1526 Dresden Row in Halifax in late October, according to Halifaxnewsnet.com.
“Taco Del Mar is a very surfer, beach vibe … it’s a jeans and a T-shirt environment, from a staff point of view, to keep it all relaxed,” franchisee Justin Moore told the news outlet.
The chain features Mission-style burritos such as the Chicken Mondo Burrito, with rice, beans, choice of meat, cheese and Pico de Gallo, or Super Meat Nachos, with beans, choice of meat, cheese, fresh guacamole, sour cream and Pico de Gallo as well as fish tacos, rice bowls and quesadillas.
Taco Del Mar opened its first location in Seattle in 1992 and now has locations spanning the U.S., as well as British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg and Ontario. [halifaxnewsnet.ca]
