TORONTO — Chef Mark McEwan has joined the list of preferred caterers at Toronto’s Carlu theatre, as the event space improves its food program.
“I’m honoured to join the list at The Carlu, as North 44 Caters and McEwan Kosher are an excellent fit for their clients,” says McEwan.
“We’re continually looking at ways to improve The Carlu’s business and after 10 years, we felt we needed to shake things up a bit,” says Mark Robert, managing partner at the Carlu. “The addition of one of Canada’s best chefs reinforces our goal to be the premium special events venue.”
Caterers must meet certain criteria to be placed on the Carlu’s list of preferred caterers.
They are chosen for their high standards in food quality and presentation, menu creativity, reputation, and their ability to cater events for up to 1,700 guests.
Named “Canada’s Top Venue” by Meetings + Incentive Travel Magazine, The Carlu also uses the culinary expertise of Daniel et Daniel, L-eat and 10Tation in Toronto.
