WINDSOR, Ont. — North 42 Degrees Estate Winery in Colchester, Ont.’s Essex County is gearing up for a $1-million expansion, according to the Windsor Star.
The investment will allow the team to add a larger wine tasting area, more retail space and a restaurant. Bistro 42 will offer a tapas-style menu and seating for 60 people, with indoor seating and a second-floor patio. As part of the two-storey, 4,500-sq.-ft. expansion, which will include a commercial kitchen, North 42 Degrees will be able to host corporate events and special occasions.
“This is a new element for us, which I think is a natural expansion of the winery,” winemaker Martin Gorski told the Windsor Star. “Nothing goes together like food and wine.”
