ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Pizza point of sale provider SpeedLine Solutions Inc., announced today that Pizza Hut franchise companies Capital Pizza Huts and Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne signed five-year agreements for ongoing point of sale software support and upgrades.

The agreements apply to Capital’s 89 Pizza Hut and 9 Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurants, and 47 Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne locations.

“In our restaurants, we rely on our point of sale systems. Although we have our own first-level support staff, it is critical to be able to contact SpeedLine when we need expert-level assistance,” said Capital IT Director Vic Boydo. “This agreement with SpeedLine will also equip our restaurants with ongoing software upgrades to keep our POS technology up to date.”

“We have used SpeedLine point of sale software successfully in our restaurants since 2007. This agreement locks in favorable rates, and provides backup to our in-house support staff to ensure uninterrupted service to our restaurants,” said Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne Director of Information Technology Kevin Espy.

“This agreement provides the basis for a more effective partnership with Capital and Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne,” commented SpeedLine president John de Wolde. “We look forward to continuing work with these long-term clients to implement their technology upgrade plans and achieve their strategic growth goals.”
