TORONTO — Pizzeria Libretto is celebrating its 15th anniversary with two weeks of nostalgic dishes starting August 14. In tandem with the retro dishes making a comeback for the festivities, patrons can also expect the limited-time menu items to honour prices from the pizzeria’s early years.
Co-owners chef Rocco Agostino and Max Rimaldi founded Pizzeria Libretto’s first location at 221 Ossington Avenue in Toronto, one of the first establishment’s in the city to serve VPN-certified pizza within the strict guidelines set out by the Napoli government.
The celebrations will kick off exclusively at Pizzeria Libretto’s Ossington location from August 14 to 20, rolling out to the remaining four locations across Toronto on August 21 to 27.

“Chef Rocco and I are incredibly grateful to our guests and staff who have supported and grown with us over the last 15 years,” says Rimaldi. “It goes without saying that we’re celebrating our 15th anniversary because of the love and patronage of our guests, many of whom once spent hours in line when our Ossington location first opened its doors; this milestone is a tremendous feat, one of which we would not be celebrating without them, or without the ongoing work from our exceptional staff.”
“Over the last 15 years our menu has changed slightly, but there are some fan favourites that have definitely left their mark. Our anniversary menu will take diners on a delicious journey back in time, featuring off-menu dishes that we’ve been asked about again and again,” says Agostino. “It’s a special opportunity for us to re-visit these dishes and share them once again with our loyal guests who have supported us throughout this incredible journey.”
