TORONTO — Second Cup is reportedly raising the price of a cup of its joe on Feb. 18.
According to the Toronto Star, the increase is due to the “continuing increase in raw materials and operating costs,” but it hasn’t yet been announced how much the price will go up.
The price of coffee has been an ongoing discussion in the past few years. Tim Hortons raised its prices in 2011 and Starbucks raised prices in select markets in 2011 and as recently as last month.
