WHISTLER, B.C. — The annual Cornucopia Festival wrapped up yesterday in Whistler, B.C.

The 11-day food-and-wine festival featured a multitude of events, including Chef’s Table luncheons, seminars, workshops and signature events, such as Araxi Restaurant + Oyster Bar’s Big Guns dinner. Other tastings and dinners included a desert tasting hosted by Bearfoot Bistro Wine Cellar; a luncheon hosted by Hector Laguna, executive chef, Botanist (Vancouver); a small farms wine dinner hosted at Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s Grill Room; and an evening with Nobu Lana’i’s chef Marlowe Lawrenko at Sidecut.

Cornucopia, Whistler’s Celebration of Food & Drink, is owned by a not-for-profit and run as a charity benefit for the community. The Whistler Public Library and The Whistler Writing Society are named as the 2017 joint beneficiaries.
