VANCOUVER — The Whistle Dog at A&W has returned for a limited time after it disappeared from its menu in 2017. Since its departure, Whistle Dog fans have started petitions, written songs, rallied support on the radio and filled up A&W’s comment sections on social media to request its return.
“Our guests have been very persistent,” says Amanda Wang, director of National Promotions and Loyalty at A&W. “Given our new partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays, this felt like the perfect summer to bring back the Whistle Dog and give the people what they want.”
