B.C. Shellfish Festival Lineup Announced

COMOX, B.C. — The lineup of six chefs scheduled to appear at the upcoming B.C. shellfish festival has been announced. 

This year’s event will include Ned Bell of the Four Seasons in Vancouver; Bill Jones of Deerholme Farm in Cowichan Valley; Jonathan Chovancek of Kale & Nori Culinary Arts in Vancouver; Matt MacDonald of Berwick in Comox; Ronald St. Pierre of Locals in Courtenay; and Aaron Rail of Avenue Bistro in Comox.

Organizers are expecting more than 200 guests for a six-course West Coast-inspired seafood menu that will be paired with a B.C. wine. The chefs will work with a local sustainable shellfish grower.

The festival is scheduled to run from June 15 to16 at the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox. For more details, or to buy tickets, visit bcshellfishfestival.ca.
