COMOX, B.C. — The lineup of six chefs scheduled to appear at the upcoming B.C. shellfish festival has been announced.
This year’s event will include Ned Bell of the Four Seasons in Vancouver; Bill Jones of Deerholme Farm in Cowichan Valley; Jonathan Chovancek of Kale & Nori Culinary Arts in Vancouver; Matt MacDonald of Berwick in Comox; Ronald St. Pierre of Locals in Courtenay; and Aaron Rail of Avenue Bistro in Comox.Organizers are expecting more than 200 guests for a six-course West Coast-inspired seafood menu that will be paired with a B.C. wine. The chefs will work with a local sustainable shellfish grower.
