MONTREAL — Foodtastic Inc. has acquired La Chambre, which serves food in an original and lively sports atmosphere. La Chambre currently has two locations, with a third opening soon in Blainville, Que. The concept features four proprietary micro-brewed beers, now also available at more than 125 retail locations.

This acquisition of a homegrown Quebec business is consistent with our strategy of acquiring quality brands with growth potential that complement our existing brand portfolio. We believe the La Chambre acquisition will leverage our marketing, purchasing and operational systems to better serve La Chambre fanatics and welcome many new ones.”
An important part of the transaction was the retention of Eric Champoux, the creator of La Chambre, who will retain an important equity stake in the concept.
