NEW YORK — Starbucks has earned the highest foodservice ranking on Fortune Magazine’s 2012 list of 50 Most Admired Companies, which measures the corporate reputations of the world’s largest companies.
The coffee chain ranked eighth on the list that featured McDonald’s in the eleventh spot.
The survey involved 4,000 business executives, directors and analysts, who ranked close to 700 companies from 32 countries. Criteria included investment value, social responsibility, product/service quality and quality of management, among others.
