Parts & Labour Team to Launch Burger Restaurant

TORONTO — The award-winning burger that put Toronto’s Parts & Labour on the map is getting a new home at P&L Burger, a burger restaurant, which will open in the city in December.

Matty Matheson, executive head chef of Parts & Labour, has designed a menu of 15 items for the restaurant, including the award-winning burger that took top place on the CMT series Burger Wars.

It has seven ounces of Ontario chuck, dill mayo, bacon-onion jam, iceberg lettuce and Monterey Jack cheese on a toasted milk bun. Other items on the menu will include a homemade vegetarian Tempeh burger, a mozzarella-topped Italian burger, a cheesy mushroom Philly burger and a maple barbecue sauce-covered peameal Castor burger.

P&L Burger is as new project from the Toronto-based Social Group, which also owns The Social, Parts & Labour, Parts & Labour Catering, The Hoxton and Dog & Bear.
