MONTREAL — The winners of La Pizza Week, presented by Saputo, Sysco and DoorDash, have been announced. Created by Canadian restaurant festival makers Na’eem Adam and Thierry Rassam of People Mover Technologies Inc., La Pizza Week showcased the cheesy-filled talents of hundreds of participating restaurants from all major cities.
The winners for the best pizza nationwide as voted by the public include:
- Papa’s Gourmet Pizza, Vancouver
- Pasquale’s Italian Restaurant, Winnipeg
- Hornby Island Bakery & Pizzeria, Hornby Island, B.C.
- Verace, Quebec
- Noor’s Mediterranean Kitchen, Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S.
In addition to the public vote, there were various other awards, including:

- The Bruce Craft House, Cambridge, Ont.

- Tommy’s Pizzeria, Winnipeg

- The cheesiest pizza in Canada: Bella Vita Pizzeria, Halifax
