MONTREAL — Eater Montreal has unveiled the winners of the 10th-annual Eater Awards, which celebrate the restaurants that made the largest impact on all 24 Eater cities over the past 12 months.

In October, the publication made a public call for nominations of restaurants that opened between September 2018 and August 2019, from which a shortlist was selected. The final Montreal winners were recognized in three categories, with Italian restaurant Moccione, owned by Maxime Landry and Luca Cianciulli, awarded Restaurant of the Year.

MARCUS, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson’s restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Montreal, received Design of the Year — recognizing the design work of Atelier Zébulon Perron — and chef Pamika Sukla’s Thai street-food spot Mae Sri was awarded Casual Restaurant of the Year.
