ST. THOMAS, Ont. — St. Thomas Doughbox Wood-fired Pizza & Pasta celebrated its grand opening on May 15 with its signature Pizza 500 Community Event.  The celebration included a cheque presentation for $1,500 remitted to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.

“We’re thrilled to have celebrated our opening with a wonderful Pizza 500 event yesterday,” says Piyush Sood and Manpreet Kaur, St. Thomas franchise owners. “We’re excited to support the Foundation with our Pizza 500 event and hope to continue serving our community for years to come.”

The donation will support St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital’s Greatest Needs fund. The St. Thomas Elgin General hospital has been serving the seven municipalities in its area for 68 years.

“The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation is grateful for this $1,500 donation from Doughbox in support of the hospital’s Greatest Needs, which will ensure essential, life-saving care and equipment is available for your family, friends, and neighbours when they need it most,” says Mary Lou Crowley, president & CEO of The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
