TORONTO — The 2012 Kitchen Innovations Award winners have been announced and are set to be showcased at the NRA Show, from May 5 to 8 in Chicago.

The team at Frontline International was happy to hear about its win for a patent-pending box system for dispensing standard packaging oil (pictured). “We won this award by creating a system that could smartly manage one of the worst jobs in the kitchen to ensure customers save time and money while enhancing kitchen safety,” said John Palazzo, president, Frontline International.

Other winners included Alto-Shaam for its Combitherm Automatic Grease Collection System; CookTek for its SinAqua Waterless Food Holding System; and Ecolab for its ActiveView HDI – Health Department Intelligence.

Recipients of the awards, which recognize groundbreaking equipment in foodservice, will be showcased in the interactive Kitchen Innovations Pavilion at the McCormick Place during the expo.
