CALGARY — The Rouge Restaurant team is gearing up to host the Rouge and White Garden Party to raise awareness for the Hotchkiss Brain Institute.

“I lost my father this past year to Alzheimer’s Disease, which was a real wake up call for me about the importance of neurological research and advancement,” said Paul Rogalski, owner and chef at Rouge. “What better way to generate awareness for this cause so close to my heart than to bring people together with incredible cuisine in our beautiful garden.”

Rogalski and co-owner Olivier Reynaud have invited the country’s top chefs to collaborate on a gourmet carnival menu, which includes bubbly and wine pairings. The all-star cast includes former Top Chef Canada contender Connie DeSousa with John Jackson from Charcut; former Top Chef Canada contender Xavier Lacaze with Cam Dobranski from Muse; Food Network’s Cook Like a Chef star Michael Allemier and Derek Dammann, the chef behind DNA restaurant.

The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the historic A.E. Cross house in Inglewood, Calgary.
