AURORA, Ont. — Friends of We Care Foundation Inc., through the support of the foodservice and hospitality industry, will present $1 million to The Easter Seal Society of Canada to fund camp visits for disabled children, on May 5 at the annual We Care Gala.
The event will also honour members of the foodservice and hospitality realm for their contributions to the industry and the community with three awards. The Corporate Friend of We Care Award will be presented to the B.C.-based International Pacific Sales, the We Care Hall of Fame award will be presented to Aubrey MacMillan of the Ontario-based Stewart Foodservice Inc. and The Gary Wright Humanitarian Award will be presented to Mark Cator.
The We Care Gala will be held at the Conference Centre at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
