MONTREAL — The Seals & Sealing Network’s Seal Fest will return for its third edition, taking place from September 10 to 19.
During Seal Fest, restaurants in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and St. John’s will showcase the Canadian superfood, offering foodies a special culinary experience. Each participating establishment will offer an entrée accompanied by a glass of wine, cocktail or beer.
The official launch of Seal Fest will be held at Maison Saint-Paul in Montreal on September 10. A complete list of participating restaurants can be found at sealfest.ca.
Seal is recognized as a wild, eco-friendly alternative protein. Both harp and grey seal are listed as “Smarter Seafood” by Exploramer, a certification program that ensures marine resources are managed and used responsibly.
