SEB Professional continues to expand its portfolio of advanced automated coffee systems. Currently, it offers three automated equipment brands: WMF, Schaerer and Wilbur Curtis. Models range from on demand bean-to-cup brewing systems for self-serve applications to multi-function espresso-based units that can dispense hot and cold specialty beverages for high-volume applications.
One of the newest additions to the lineup is the Curtis Genesis Skyline, a fully automated system for high-volume coffee production. “This technology is especially crucial in today’s fast-paced and competitive market,” says Ooft. “It helps businesses save time, minimize waste and labour and increase profitability while offering consistent high-quality coffee.”
Designed with operational efficiency in mind, the Genesis Skyline is the first machine of its kind with the ability to automate output based on demand. Machine programming is based on peak and low demands and can be adjusted for specified times of the day and week allowing for more streamlined and simpler operations. Every brew cycle (cup or batch) is ground straight from whole beans for the freshest flavour, aroma and taste.
During peak times, the space-saving programmable machine (less than 13 inches wide) can brew large batches straight from whole beans and maintain different amounts of coffee in an urn at 25, 50, 75 or 100 per cent full. During low demand, the machine can be switched to bean-to-cup mode and brew by the cup – saving operators both labour and waste. This flexibility makes it an ideal choice for high-traffic locations such as cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and drive-thru locations.
The telemetry system provides a 360-degree view of an operator’s coffee business. Data and advanced analytics help business owners optimize productivity and provides them with an accurate picture of sales progress via an online dashboard.
Other efficiency and time saving features include a seamless and intuitive touch display for easy navigation, automatic grinder adjustments per order, and remote monitoring, as well as a calendar-scheduled cleaning functionality, reducing the need for staff intervention.
“The Curtis Genesis Skyline represents just one of many innovations that align with SEB’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and simplifying coffee service,” says Ooft. “Advanced and intuitive systems are playing a critical role in helping operations of all sizes grow their coffee programs and increase profitability.”
